Dolphins have always been loved by humans. It’s such an innocent and lovely creature that you’d spend hours playing with them. But can you imagine this beautiful creature being brutally killed for nothing ? Human race has always been brutal and blood thirsty. But look at those pictures. I don’t see humans there. They are KILLERS. We have to stop these stupid festivals and crazy hunt. Where are NGOs and Wild Life Organizations ? Leaders from around the world should take a notice of this mass murder and do something about saving these sea loving beauties.
This TOTALLY INSANE method of killing these poor Dolphins is called DRIVE HUNT in which they drive the Dolphins towards the shore using their boats and after that they close the EXIT by nets and boats so that no one can ESCAPE. Imagine yourself in a room and the walls are closing upon you. This is Brutal, Insane and Pathetic.

Just because this festival is a tradition and has been practiced for hundreds of years doesn’t mean it should be acceptable. Hell Aztecs sacrificed people for a hundred years or so. If they want to hunt whales, then i believe the people that are trained and experienced in whale hunting should hunt the whales, not your average citizen in a large whale bloodfest.

You don’t seee humans, just killers? I still just see people. People given credence to satisfy their bloodlust. Honestly, if this was a bunch of fish, I wouldn’t care, not in the least. Whales (and dolphins too, but yes these are whales) have a similar capacity for intelligence as humans. In the case of the orca, a higher capacity. They have the same capacity for emotion, fear, even hatred in some rare occassions. None of these people care, and why should they? No one is corralling them into the shallows and killing then en masse. No hooks and lines being dragged across them. No court that would convict them. Pathetic. I’m ashamed to be of the same species.
You should know by now liberals are incapable of dealing with facts. As long as they are spoon fed a constant supply of material that triggers emotional reactions they are happy, regardless of whether the material has anything to do with reality or not.

Chickens, cows, goats, pigs, pilot whales, turkeys, deer, moose, . I love how we Americans can foist our morality on other countries yet we export porn, drugs and trashy movies. We require food, we hunted and killed, then domesticated and killed, planted and killed, we have to get our food from somewhere. If you use what you kill or plant for living, how does that make you brutal?
As previously stated, those are not dolphins. Yes the slaughtering may be brutal, but it’s not because of nothing, it’s for the survival of the town. They are on an island with not much to eat and do this once a year so they can survive off of the whale meat. It’s not like they do it out of hate for everything.

Pilot whales, are not whales. They are infact part of the dolphin family, your own link proved it, which means you didn’t even read it. Same how as orcas (aka killer whales) are part of the dolphin family.

Read the facts. Refer to the pictures of common dolphins if you cant read. Both are from the same family. Just like you are from the same species as those people killing these whales. Not to mention they use the damn whales! Sad pictures no doubt, the blood is hard to handle but ive seen far worse that happens daily you should be worried about more than a yearly thing.
