The president and his family are expected to spend Christmas in Hawaii, although the White House has not confirmed their final plans. But the president said Tuesday he wants to be in Washington to help resolve any last minute problems that may arise in the debate on health care.

A tiny candy version of Bo, the Obamas’ dog, is crafted from marzipan.
