For years I felt unattractive, “nerdy” or just simply couldn’t see. I hated waking up in the morning, going over to my son and not being able to see his perfect little eyes because they were too blurry.
I was so sick of it, that I did something about it. However, like most, the recession meant that bills were getting paid, but there weren’t a lot of extra money lying around for expensive lasik surgery or worst yet, my husband and I didn’t want to sign any long term debt without knowing the stability of our jobs.
So, financially, it was our best decision to learn how to improve eyesight naturally. Here’s what I found
How I Met Professor Duke Peterson
It was Christmas time 2007, and my daughter was having a concert for her schools theater group. I got there a little late (about 15 minutes before showtime) and wasn’t able to get a front row seat. In fact, I was in the second row to the back.
Now, this wasn’t a huge room, but it was far enough where even with my contacts, I had to squint a little (I hadn’t had an eye exam or a new prescription in years). Halfway through the performance, and about 5 minutes before my daughters “solo” (it was actually a duet, but close enough), my right contact foggied up and popped right onto my shirt.
It was uncomfortable and embarrassing as I watched the rest of the concert with one eye closed, and the other squinting. I called my husband and had him bring me a fresh contact as I didn’t feel comfortable driving us home without the full use of my eyes.
Then I realized… what if this had happened while driving? What about at night? I already have terrible night vision, could I really do it without depth perception? I’ve tried functioning with one contact in, and it’s constant queasiness. This was becoming a safety issue more than convenience.
I heard ads daily for a lasik center close by and seriously considered having the operation. But after looking over finances and realizing that both my husband and I would need the surgery, it just wasn’t financially a good option. But, was there another method? Could I learn how to improve your eyesight naturally?
I actually was beginning my career as an affiliate marketer. So, I figured I would check out a few offers. I happened to find a great-looking offer that could help me out. It was Professor Duke Peterson’s “Vision Without Glasses“.
Skeptical of course, I emailed him and asked a few questions. I told him my situation, and asked if I could get a few free hints I would consider purchasing down the road.
He replied with these helpful hints: For those of us that work on the computer all day long, this are a few tips on how to improve your eyesight naturally.
#1. Turn Down The Brightness On Your Computer Screen
Kind of a “duh” but never thought about it. He said “you’re looking at a glowing white light, think of it as looking straight into a light bulb all day. Give your eyes a fighting chance by dimming it.
#2. Keep The Lights On.
To diminish the effects of your computer screen, keep on as many lights on in the room you are working. Never work in the dark while staring into that light bulb.
#3. Look Away!
It might make you look kind of like a mad-man, but take a few seconds every minute and simply turn your head away from the screen. This also helps keep you awake and energized.
#4. Don’t Squint!
I know I have a bad habit of this, but I learned with his methods how to stop squinting. Force your eyes to focus. Just never squint. Do what you must do to avoid this unhealthy act.
After receiving the email with these hints, and testing them out only for a few days I saw a noticeable difference in my vision. I knew Professor Duke’s method would be my choice for learning how to improve my eyesight naturally.
Within 6 weeks I was off contacts, and used weak reading glasses when necessary. Within 3 months, I was off them completely. It took my husband a bit longer as his vision was even worse than mine.
If you want to ween yourself off of glasses or contacts, I can’t stress enough the importance of reading Professor Duke’s methods.











I am stunned by the fact that in a humanity as bright and well-informed as ours, that so few people seem to pay attention to valuable alternatives which are readily available to them to raise their physical well being. It seems that a bulk of people are more interested in a band aid in the form of a doctors visit and precriptions than in supervising their own wellness process, and doing so in a way that is natural, predictable, and sustainable. That is what makes me appreciate attempts like yours to prepare and prompt individuals to executing.
