The bridge is part of a proposal by NL Architects to connect Hong Kong with mainland China. To do that, they had to solve a problem: In Hong Kong, people drive on the left side of the road. In mainland China, they drive on the right side. Here’s the solution: A road flipper that physically twists the roads over each other.

MIT Students Invented Invisible PC Mouse For Only $20

Three students from MIT Media Lab have invented an invisible and very cheap computer mouse. Using a tracking camera and infrared beam, the mouseless system registers and interprets a human hand’s movement and translates it into onscreen actions such as cursor movement and button clicking.

The World's Largest Tent Opened In Kazakhstan

The world’s largest tent opened in Kazakhstan this week, soaring up 150m to crown the skyline of Central Asia’s newest capital.
Designed by the British architects Lord Foster & Partners, the Khan Shatyr Entertainment Centre in the capital Astana is 150m (490ft) high. The aim of the tent is to provide escape to a people subjected to some of the harshest climes of Central Asia’s vast steppe. Temperatures in Astana, in northern Kazakhstan, regularly dip well below -30C in winter.
