12 Tips For Building Backlinks to Your Website Or BlogWe all know how to do the onpage search engine optimization on sites, but so does your competition. The way to make a difference is with building backlinks. A lot of SEO’s struggle to get their linkbuilding fixed. Sometimes it’s hard to get quality backlinks to your websites.
After you’ve read this page you will be inspired with great new information on how to get a lot of relevant links to your site. This article is therefore good for search engine optimization experts and those beginning in this area.

01. Blog Commenting:
This is a fast easy way to get relevant incoming links. Visit blogs that are about the same topic as your site and leave a relevant comment on a recent post. That’s it. You’ll get a link back from the comments section and hopefully you’ve found a great new blog to read regularly.

02. Footprints:
Once you’ve found a good resource of inward backlinks to your site. For example a profile page, you can check out Google to see if there are more websites like this. A great way to do this is, is by doing a Google search for a footprint that’s left behind by the software that’s running on the site. For example:
“Powered by Drupal” for Drupal based websites
Rules “Our linking details” “Your linking details” for websites that have a LinkEx script installed.
“Add url” + keyword for sites that allow you to add a link.

Using these footprints to search for in Google, you can find a lot of backlinks to your website.

03. Build a Squidoo Lens:
This seems to scare some folks, but it’s really easy to do. Building a Squidoo lens is mostly point and click plus drag and drop. There are no special technical skills needed and you can have a lens up in 20 minutes or less linking back to your website or blog.

04. Competitors:
Another way to outrank your competitors is to do the same thing they do… Just use www.yahoo.com with the command linkdomain:www.competingdomain.com to find all the websites that link to your competitor. If they link to your competitor, why won’t they link to you? Try to get a link from every webpage that links to your competitor. Do this for all higher ranking sites in Google for your keyword and you’ll rank higher above them eventually.

There is a “less mannered” trick to it as well, you can ask the webmasters of those backlinking pages to your competitor to change the link of the competitor to link to your site… Or you could pay them for it. This way your competitor will drop in the search engines…

05. Comment on a Squidoo Lens:
Maybe you’re not feeling up to taking the time to build a Squidoo lens right now, or you’re in a bit of a hurry. No problem, you can still harness the link power of Squidoo by commenting on an already existing lens about your topic and including a link to your website as the resource. Easy peasy.

06. Scrapebox:
Scrapebox is a really nice product to use to scrape all the backlinks of your competitors. Scrapebox is a piece of software that allows you to find footprints combined with keywords and can export the websites it found to a list. This way you can find massive amounts of links back to your site using the two principles written about in this article.

07. Submit an Article to Directories:
That sounds simple right? Write an informative article about your topic and submit it to article directories. Not only will you get an incoming link from the article directory, but also whenever someone republishes your article on their site. Again, super easy and non technical.

08. Free Traffic System:
Free Traffic System is a great website to get quality backlinks from blogs. They allow you to publish articles to blogs that are relevant to your niche. Also, they allow you to add up to 2 anchortext rich in-content links to your site! You’re also able to spin every article you add to the system. This way you’ll create new versions of the same article, because every article is slightly different. But you’ll won’t risk the duplicate content penalty on your backlinks, so the backlinks get the full linkjuice reward!
You can publish your article to 30 webpages, with 2 links per article. Also, you can choose 1 extra tag page to submit them to. That makes more than a hundred high quality in-content backlinks to your site!
Hey, even this article is published through Free Traffic System…

09. Be a Guest Author:
If articles and comments are a great way to get links, then being a guest author at another site or blog is just pure brilliance. Being a guest expert not only gets you a nice in content link to the page of your choice, it establishes you as the go to person on the topic and gets you in front of an entirely new audience.

10. Blog hosts:
There are a lot of blog hosting websites on the internet, they are great to set up your own keyword rich blog and link back to your site. It takes a lot of work to create accounts and blogs at all those websites but the backlinks from those websites are really great and high quality. All those backlinks are embedded in the content of the blogs and are keyword rich. This is a highly recommendable technique.

Find out pragmatic things to know in the sphere of one way links – please read the web page. The time has come when proper information is really at your fingertips, use this possibility.

11. Bookmark It:
While not my personal favorite method for link building, it is still a backlink. Bookmarking on social media sites like Digg, Delicious, Facebook etc…. I don’t really recommend bookmarking your own stuff, but instead putting a few select social media icons on your site to allow your visitors to choose which content to submit to those places. Don’t worry, they will.

12. Help Someone on a Forum:
Message board communities are powerful and amazing places online. If you find a forum that is based around your niche or topic, sign up and get active. Helping someone on a forum is like handing out free cookies. People will love you for it. Be honest, be yourself, and don’t forget to link back to your website in your signature and profile while you’re there.

Useful article but can the writer tell us if blogs and forums with “nofollow” links in place are worthwhile?

I’m curious to find out what blog platform you’re utilizing? I’m experiencing some small security issues with my latest site and I would like to find something more safeguarded. Do you have any solutions?

In wtriing a blog comment, always remember “relevancy” as the most important factor. If you want your comment to be accepted, avoid commenting non-sense ideas or those that have no connection to the blog. Write comments to those blogs that you can relate with the topics so that you can create relevant comments.

Bloodshot eye can be very painful since it effects your eye which is very delicate and most critical part of your body. It is caused by various good purposes. It happens when the blood vessels come very close to the surface of your eyes. These blood vessels grow to be dilated and make your eyes red and leads to irritation.

Good idea about using Squidoo…I’d be careful about dropping links in Squidoo comments, because a lot of Lensmasters have been hit by Spam and can be cranky about allowing links in comments. Spam is an ongoing problem on Squidoo and one that many reputable Lensmasters actively work to combat.
